Great Entries for Sunday

Monday, 1 January 1

Willie Mullins is responsible for five for of the fifteen entries in the Grade 2 Ladbrokes Boyne Hurdle, the feature event, of what promsies to be an intriguing card at Navan on Sunday.

Zaidpour a recent course winner over two and a half miles, has looked a much improved sort this season and he is well served by testing ground.

Mikael D’Haguenet has won three of his four starts around here and he along  with  Final Approach, Zaidpour and Mourad all hold engagements in both the Champion and World Hurdle at Cheltenham.

The latter filled the runner up berth in this contest back in 2010, while Mullin’s other representative Cousin Vinny, a former Grade 1 winner back in 2008, could make a welcome return to action on Sunday after a 669 day absence.

Mouse Morris is double handed in the Grade 2 Ten Up Novice Chase with Four Commanders and Rathlin and he said,’ I’d say one of them will run, but I am not sure which one yet. I’ll know a bit more later in the week.’

Gift Of Dgab, runner up to Flemenstar in a Grade 1 event at Leopardstown last month, could represent Tony Martin and Gigginstown House Stud in the Grade 2 Flyingbolt Chase.
