Whether you are having your first ever
runner or have been involved in racing for a many a year, we aim ensure that
all owners have an enjoyable experience at Navan.
Going
Report
From entry stage up to the day of racing we supply a going report on our website and social media
channels. Updates are also available from our racecourse team on +353 46 90 21350.
Track
Navan is a left-handed oval travel of one mile and four furlongs with a stiff uphill climb to the finish line from the two furlong pole. There are seven hurdles and nine steeplechase fences on the loop. The home straight is three and a half furlongs in length.
Racing surface
Throughout the year our experienced team works extremely hard to provide the
best surface possible at all times. We try to provide fresh hurdle ground on
the inner rail side as much as possible and we have invested in a high-end watering
system to help maintain the track during the flat season.
Travelling
from overseas
Horses travelling from overseas have use of our secure overnight stables.
While your horse is staying at Navan, we will make sure that he/she receives
the best equine care available. We will also assist in booking accommodation
for grooms travelling with your horse.
On
a raceday
Please ensure that you bring your
Association of Irish Racecourse (AIR) badge with you on a raceday. Once you present
this card at the AIR turnstile, you will receive complimentary admission, a
racecard and a lunch voucher. You can enjoy a two course lunch with tea and
coffee in the Owners and Trainers area of the Arkle Pavilion which has a wonderful
view over the parade ring and track.
A member of our team takes care of all
winning connections and organises a copy of your race for you to take home with
your trophy.
