About Navan Racecourse
Racing has been held in Proudstown for almost 100 years and the venue has seen many transformations over that time. It is now one of the most modern venues in the country and with a host of restaurants, bars, a coffee shop and childrens' areas, there is something to suit all ages.

Our Family Fun Day held every Summer is simply a must for all junior racegoers. This dedicated family day entitled the Cusack Hotel Group Family Raceday takes place in the middle of July where all the children aged 12 and under enter for free. Expect a great day out filled with plenty of children's entertainment including face painting, bubble fun, magic shows, interactive racing experiences and much more.
We host the annual Navan Racing Festival every November, featuring the Troytown Chase, the Fortria Chase and the Lismullen Hurdle. This festival is a weekend filled with thrilling jumps action, and entertainment suited to all age groups. Witness the highest calibre of national hunt horses up close and personal at the start of the jumps season.
Our Bective Restaurant is an ideal venue for small groups of family, friends or clients. Our Real Deal packages are ideal for hen or stag parties while our functions rooms can be booked for larger groups and cater for approximately 200 people. Navan is a left-handed oval track of one mile and four furlongs with a testing uphill finish of approximately two furlongs. Our straight sprint track is nearly six furlongs in length. The track is best described as a 'big galloping track' and consequently attracts many high class runners. Season racegoers have the opportunity to see 'talking horses' before they appear at major festivals.
