Millbrook Foods Group marks 100 years in business at Navan Racecourse this Saturday
Navan Racecourse today announced a new partnership with fellow Meath business Millbrook Foods Group in Oldcastle.

Millbrook Foods sponsor at Navan Racecourse this Saturday to celebrate 100 years in business.
Navan Racecourse today announced a new partnership with fellow Meath business Millbrook Foods Group in Oldcastle, as the two proud local organisations join forces at the upcoming return of the Jumps race-meeting on Saturday 19th September at the Proudstown venue. Millbrook Foods will mark a milestone 100 years in business with a special day at Navan Racecourse, celebrating a century of family ownership, local employment and in providing an excellent service to their customers across the Meath, midlands and border regions.
The collaboration comes at an exciting time for the racecourse, coinciding with the much-anticipated return of the national hunt season at Navan.
Founded in 1926 by Margaret and Thomas Caffrey, Millbrook Foods is a family-owned Irish business which began as a merchant and grocery shop at the family residence at Millbrook just outside Oldcastle, and which has evolved through generations into a diversified food business.
From its early days supplying groceries by horse-drawn cart across Meath, Cavan and Westmeath, the Caffrey family then became pioneers in egg production, with the well-known “Millbrook Eggs” brand. Over the years, as the food market evolved, Millbrook successfully diversified into the foodservice industry and then as specialist suppliers of edible oils to the food manufacturing and catering sectors.
Today, Millbrook Foods operates from its purpose-built distribution and manufacturing facilities in Oldcastle, and from its retail shop “Millbrook Market” at Kennedy Road in Navan. Throughout the decades, the business has continued to build on its strong family heritage and values, to support their local community and businesses, and have earned a top-class reputation in servicing the hospitality and food manufacturing sectors.
